Epipremnum aureum ‘Global Green’ is a relatively new type of Pothos that has recently become available in the United States via Costa Farms. As of June 2021, their official website states that they have the exclusive rights to Global Green Pothos in North America.
Identification
Global Green Pothos has an interesting variegation pattern, with the darker green portion usually surrounding the medium and lighter green portions. The leaf shapes tend to be fairly irregular, and the amount of variegation of each leaf is highly variable as well. See photos below.
Where to Find Global Green Pothos
The main way to obtain a Global Green Pothos, as of 2021, is through Costa Farms’ line of hanging baskets, normally available at various big box stores such as Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, or Home Depot. Houseplant enthusiasts have reported that it is still a fairly rare plant to be able to locate.
